Thank you to student volunteers from Rundle College

May 24, 2013: It was a rainy and dismal morning but that did not deter a group of enthusiastic Grade 8 Rundle College students from demonstrating what they could do with pitchforks, wheelbarrows, rakes and a mountain of mulch.

They worked hard in the pouring rain and never once did they complain or slow down in their efforts to complete their task. Could it be that they were motivated by the promise of pizza and pop or was it their intense desire to contribute to the community through their selfless volunteerism?

We think it was the latter.

Getting ready to start pitchforking!

The latest in fashion - garbage bag raincoats!

Fill 'er up!

This is fun but I won't do this at home!

One down. Ninety more to go.

We look better than the boys wearing garbage bags.

I wish I were in Math class right now.

We look good in garbage bag black!

We need more over there!

We would do anything for pizza - even dance!

Can't talk now. Too busy eating pizza.

If we come next week, do we get more pizza?
